The system provides a convenient way of opening multiple pages on one screen thanks to tabs which keep desktop organised.  Users can also define their own views. Flip the columns, resize them, make them fit. Full drag and drop support speeds up operations and makes users more effective. Frequently used menu items are always ready at hand.

OCTOPUS6 is fluent in any language be it English, Chinese, Hindi, Russian, Czech, Arabic or French. With full Unicode support, any language and character set can be used with OCTOPUS6. The entire user interface can be translated into any language so there is no need for users to understand a word of English.

Searching and filtering data are the most used functions in newsroom and OCTOPUS6 offers several types of search. Single-tap search is available in any item list on the screen.  Whenever you're viewing data, simply start typing your search-word. The word is automatically located in the list of data and pressing next takes you to relevant lines further down the list. Even in rundowns. On the other hand, full text search enables to search the entire system. Wires, media, emails, RSS, story archives, web pages, faxes, contacts...everything is searched instantly to get the most useful information from your valuable data. Research has never been so easy!
