MountainWest Sports Network, informally known as The Mtn., is an American regional sports network dedicated solely to a college athletic conference. The television has chosen to switch from their initial newsroom solution to OCTOPUS6 because of the advantage of our platform independent newsroom computer system running even on Mac, that The Mtn. decided to use. OCTOPUS6 is integrated with Building4Media automation, Chyron graphics and Autocue telepromoters and it is set to serve up to 30 concurrent users. We wish MountainWest Sports Network many happy sport fans and look forward to other opportunities to work together.

TV7, one of the main Bulgarian television channels and our very first Bulgarian customer, has begun broadcasting with OCTOPUS6 today. The infotainment based channel has chosen to integrate our system with Quantel, Autocue and Orad. As a result, we were happy to co-operate with 2 new partners on this project - Quantel and AVC Audio Video Consult. We hope TV7 journalists will enjoy producing news with OCTOPUS6 even more from now on!

Czech TV, that has been our client since 2006, has switched to OCTOPUS6 as our first major customer in Central Europe. The company joined another 7 existing customers and all together there are already 21 running Octopus6 installations sold during the past year.OCTOPUS6 was installed in March on new hardware equipment, training was provided in April and final switch to OCTOPUS6 was successfully completed on Saturday 8th of March 2010. The system is integrated with third party systems Aveco playout automation, Orad real-time graphics, Vizrt digital archive and Autoscript prompters.
The new version of OCTOPUS6 has a number of new features that make the process of making news more effective, easier as well as friendly. These features include for example platform independence, apple final cut plug-in, spell check, etc. For more details about the new features please see section products.

TA3, the only 24/7 news channel in Slovakia is now on-air with OCTOPUS6. OCTOPUS is integrated with Avid Command playout, Vizrt Pilot graphics and Autoscript prompters. All the operations around the switch from the old system to OOCTOPUS 6 went surprisingly smoothly. Users were well prepared, the system was well tested so all the stress and fear from "the scary new system" was for nothing. All we can do now is wish good luck to TA3 with their news and many happy years with us.

After a couple of month of implementation, internal testing and trainings, Duna TV in Budapest, Hungary launched their daily newscast using OCTOPUS6. Duna is a state-owned Hungarian language TV channel broadcasting not only for Hungary, but also for Hungarian minorities via satellite to the whole world, including North America and Australia. Our local Hungarian partner - Silicon Computers - worked with us to create and implement a local version of OCTOPUS6, so we now have a Hungarian interface. Don't hesitate to ask, we may already have an interface in your language as well. OCTOPUS6 is integrated with Autoscript prompter for Duna TV.

Jamuna TV in Dhaka, Bangladesh has chosen our partner - Benchmark, Singapore - as a system integrator and supplier of all fully tapeless high-speed news production TV systems to launch their brand new news channel. Jamuna is our 6th customer in Bangladesh. OCTOPUS6 is now being installed and integrated there together with Aveco automation, Vizrt graphics system and Autoscript prompters.
