OCTOPUS gets closer to customers in India - thanks to BENCHMARK

OCTOPUS and BENCHMARK Microsystems agreed to enter mutual technical cooperation for south/pacific asia region. With OCTOPUS-trained engineers located in Delhi, Chennai and Singapore, OCTOPUS customers should expect quicker response time and better communication in their local language. For the potential customers the advantage includes shorter time-to-deliver for the new projects. Benchmark having a deep understanding of local newscast workflows and available technology is also able to provide professional consultancy and system integration.

OCTOPUS attends IBE2007

OCTOPUS Newsroom will attend a newly formed IBE Exhibition held in Mumbai from 25th to 27th October. OCTOPUS5 will be showcased at the stand of Benchmark Microsystems as a part of their professional broadcasting solutions. Everyone is welcome to visit stand A5-8 and see the latest features in action.

TVN Biznes uses OCTOPUS

TVN Biznes is besides TVN24 and nSport already a 3rd polish channel owned by ITI Group running OCTOPUS5 in their newsroom. OCTOPUS in TVN Biznes will be used by 30 users and integrated with Autoscript teleprompters and FORK automation. Channel will be launched in third quarter of 2007.

Dawn News picked OCTOPUS

Dawn TV, a new 24/7 news channel located in Karachi, Pakistan chose OCTOPUS to serve their 40 user newsroom facility. Dawn TV broadcasts in English and uses Wasp 3D graphics and Autoscript teleprompter to support their news workflow.

Waqt TV selects OCTOPUS

A brand new pakistani infotainment channel, Waqt TV has recently implemented OCTOPUS Newsroom System for their 20 journalist facility based in Lahore. Waqt runs OCTOPUS together with Vizrt and Autoscript teleprompter. Automation may be installed in later stages.
