TV Barrandov is one of many TV stations in the Czech Republic which have chosen OCTOPUS Newsroom computer system for its broadcast and newscast workflow, however, it is the first to use OCTOPUS6. This new generation NRCS is a major step from the previous version, OCTOPUS5. OCTOPUS6 is cross-platform, used natively on Mac, Linux and Windows OS and has improved features in almost every area of the system. TV Barrandov is an infotainment DTV channel broadcasting only in digital and OCTOPUS66 is set to serve up to 25 concurrent users.
