Czech TV, that has been our client since 2006, has switched to OCTOPUS6 as our first major customer in Central Europe. The company joined another 7 existing customers and all together there are already 21 running Octopus6 installations sold during the past year.
OCTOPUS6 was installed in March on new hardware equipment, training was provided in April and final switch to OCTOPUS6 was successfully completed on Saturday 8th of March 2010. The system is integrated with third party systems Aveco playout automation, Orad real-time graphics, Vizrt digital archive and Autoscript prompters.
The new version of OCTOPUS6 has a number of new features that make the process of making news more effective, easier as well as friendly. These features include for example platform independence, apple final cut plug-in, spell check, etc. For more details about the new features please see section products.
